She’s sweet, shy, and adorably awkward. Way too young for me, but so damn cute I could howl into the wind whipping outside my cabin as the storm rages. I didn’t think I wanted anyone in my life, but this little librarian is making me rethink every plan I had for the future.
The problem? I don’t have anything to offer that could tempt her to stay, except a battle-scarred heart and a dog with no boundaries.
Who would want that?
