Everyone has secrets. Does everyone deserve a second chance? Maddox:
After getting out of the Marines, I took a job in my home town. The love of my life had moved away and no one had been able to tell me where she’d gone. But my heart wasn’t going to let me stop looking for her.

Everyone has secrets. Does everyone deserve a second chance? Maddox:
After getting out of the Marines, I took a job in my home town. The love of my life had moved away and no one had been able to tell me where she’d gone. But my heart wasn’t going to let me stop looking for her.
Our single night together had gone horribly wrong, and I at least deserved to be told to my face that she didn’t want to see me ever again. The two-sentence blow-off letter she’d sent didn’t suffice.
But decisions were made and paths forever changed. Was it possible to be a part of her life again?

One night wasn’t supposed to dictate a person’s future, but it did because apparently you could get pregnant the first time you had sex. Add to that a couple of arrests and really angry parents and you summed up the night I lost my virginity my first summer after high school.
No matter which decisions I made, someone was going to be mad. After I got through the boatloads of panic, all I could do was go with my heart.
As long as I kept my blinders on, my life seemed to be fairly smooth. Then Maddox found me and pulled my blinders off.
I could no longer hide from my decisions.
He said he loved me. It was time to find out if that love was unconditional.
Dirty-sweet, insta-love, second chance, secret baby... what more can you ask for? You know you want it!
