The bugs have buzzed me to insanity.

He comes out of nowhere, rappels down, and saves my life like it’s a walk in the park.

And for whatever reason, he just won’t let me go.
When I insist that I need to reach the summit, he insists on coming with me.
Nights on the mountain are cold, and he’s intent on keeping me warm.
It makes no sense.
What could a wild man like him ever want in a naive city girl like me?
But the way he’s looking at me makes things as clear as his deep blue eyes.
The things he says leave me without a trace of doubt.
Something has been ignited in him, something he can’t ignore.
This mountain man is obsessed with me…
And I feel the fire too.
