We hit a snowstorm in the Rocky Mountains, and that prick drives faster!
They’re long gone, and I’m stranded on the side of a lonely mountain road.
But just when I think I’m going to be sitting here all night, freezing to death, a pair of headlights arrives.
At first, I’m afraid the big figure approaching is some rural serial killer.
What else can a girl think out here on her own?
But the man who gets in the car instantly makes me feel warm and safe.
Logan is a giant, bearded, and always smiling.
My defenses go up instinctively, but I can’t help but melt a little when he jokes and offers to take me to his cabin.
I’m not used to the people in my life lending a helping hand.
But Logan seems intent on pampering me, spoiling me rotten in his cozy, secluded cabin.
I should find a way to get a hold of my sister and get back on the road.
Or, I could ride out the storm with this hunk of a man and his three adorable dogs.
